Family Arts Fest and Salute to the Troops

Today, Ben, Meagan, and I went and visited the Family Arts Fest and Salute to the Troops which was at the Midtown Centre office park in St. Nicholas... conveniently, that is also the office park that MHRC's CPS unit is at... yes, my office... though I guess it would have only been convenient if I was actually working today... anyways, I digress... I wore Meagan the entire time in her little baby carrier... and she slept the entire time. People actually thought she was a doll. The festival was pretty boring... though I did stop by the MHRC booth and chatted with one of my collegues, who was there displaying the "Heart Gallery photos.

The US Military was also present and had some Humvies, a tank, and a CH-47 Chinook Helicopter (which Ben loved so much I had to go back on the way out so i could take pictures). Ben also got fingerprinted and photographed for ID kit. Pretty fun afternoon for Ben and it cost $0...which is even better.
